Patrick Cameron hair up course and fotd :)

I am in college doing my advanced hairdressing on day release to improve my skills:)
So yesterday I did a Patrick Cameron hair up workshop with one of his staff.
If your not familiar with him, hes one of the worlds leading hair up hairdressers:)

On this corse I did 3 hair ups and I thought I would share what I did :)
They are all  gorgeous styles and all adaptable for the occasion.

This first style I did was a messy updo, I love this style, it has softness around the face and can be dressed up or down.

This next style is a smoth sleek updo, i really enjoyed doing this, and its so simple to create!

The final style i did was another messy updo, with  an amazimg technique, i really enjoyed doing this and will be redoing this one as much as possible:)

primark

So the other day after work, I went to primark. It was only a quick visit on my way home and I was only intending to browse.. but lets be honest when does that ever happen in primark?!

Anyway I found myself in the jewellery and accessories,  you know where this is heading!
So heres what I brought, first this black, gold studded waist belt. I was in lush before primark and saw one of the girls wearing this, but stupidly didn't ask where it was from.. but fate took over!  This was only £4.00!

Closer up picture of the studs.

I also purchased these two belts, one black, one taupe/mushroom colour with a small silver cross on, I thought these would look nice with a skater dress or a loose dress/top.
They were £2.00 for both!

Finally I brought this silver cross necklace, there was a similar one in topshop if anyone remembers that? But the primark version is only £2.00, they also have it in gold and an antique gold.. I may be heading back to pick these up aswell!

So those are my purchases from primark, kind of mini haul :)

soap and glory palette and supercat liquid eyeliner

For Christmas I received the tricks of the shade soap and glory eyeshadow palette also containing supercat liquid eyeliner. I've never used any of the soap and glory makeup other then sexy motherpucker lip gloss.

I love this palette the colours are gorgeous, pigmented and have amazing staying power, they range from everyday nudes to darker shades.
The palette contains both matt arnd shimmer colours everything you need, I have used this nearly everyday since I got it, either for a full eye or just a base.
I honestly love these eyeshadows. As you can see, I have used this palette :)

Next is the supercat liquid eyeliner,  this also came with  the palette,  but I know you can purchase it separately,.I can tell you now.. I will be purchasing this again!

I have always found liquid eyeliner hard to get on with, they never seem to last all day, either smudge or flake off (not a good look) the only other liner I have ever found to have a staying power is gosh extreme art eyeliner however if find that very gloopy and takes ages to dry. Supercat on the other hand is like any other felt tip liner, I swatched it when I received it and assumed it would be the same as others, no staying power.. I was wrong.. this liner is amazing, I honestly cannot fault it, I would highly rerecommend this as a essential purchase!

purple hair

Hey guys, so today I dyed my hair purple,  I am normally blonde, however have had a baby pink hue for a few weeks and decided it was time for a change!

I was going to re pink, however only had a small amount of pink dye, I also had some purple and blue... so I decided to create.
I mixed a small amount of each colour with loads of conditioner I used pantene aqua light, to create a pastel colour. Its best to use a white conditioner for this as coloured ones can alter the end colour result.

The shades I used are carnation pink, lagoon blue and violet all directions colours.
I then applied to my hair for about half an hour.
I then washed, dried and styled my hair as normal, this is the result:)
